Here I have attempted to provide some information about myself with the intention to allow my family and friends to get better acquainted with me, and to share some of my interests with the geek-at-heart.  I have intentionally left out personal identifying information, such as my e-mail address, in order to prevent the "harvesting" of this information by direct marketers who are, in my opinion, odious vermin.
